When I stared into her sunken eyes,
they silently screamed out a series of disturbing thoughts.
And if only her bitten lips would crack her very soul open,
they would unleash a pandora so devoid of hope the sun would flee from the light of day.
One would solemnly beg to see her smile,
even in the count of a second.
But alas, she's already vanished within the whistling sounds of the passing wind.
