Light Years

Whose story will begin like ours? From shriveled leaves on a broken flower to a sudden twitch on my life line and here I am staring at the stars, wondering if its really your face I see in the night skies.

...and only time will tell how much I saw when I stared into your eyes. Heaven knows I'd need a thousand light years to explain.

But time has never really been here for us, so I breathe in hard and hope its enough for me to say I will be here waiting...
And while you remain gone, you are like a fragrance dissolved in my memories that scents the threads of my inner soul. You are the origin of the impulse my heart keeps beating from. Only this time I hear it beating even faster as I close my eyes and recall you, drawing me hearts in the mist on my bedroom window.

Whose story will end like ours? From shredded hearts and a broken smile to a sudden glitch and my moons turn into one summer afternoon, still leaving me wondering if its really your face I see on my doorstep...

and only time will tell how much I now see while am staring into your eyes. Heaven knows I will need a thousand light years to explain...
And those years start by me saying "I LOVE YOU".
